At the Kiwanis Club of Windsor, everything we do is centered around one simple idea: helping kids and strengthening our community.
Through hands-on service, partnerships, and fundraising, we support local families, youth programs, and community organizations, while also helping in mentoring the next generation of leaders.
We have pictures of our events on our Facebook page: Facebook.
Supporting Families in Need
Diaper Drive for Mary’s Closet
We collect diapers, wipes, and financial donations to support Mary’s Closet at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church. These essential items are distributed directly to families in need throughout the Windsor area.
This is one of the most direct ways we’re able to make an immediate impact for local families.
Community Events & Local Impact
Summer Concert Series Bike Valet
During Windsor’s Summer Concert Series at Boardwalk Park, we operate a secure bike valet service. Guests can safely park their bikes while enjoying the event, and donations collected help fund Kiwanis programs and youth initiatives.
Halloween & Community Celebrations
We love being part of Windsor’s biggest community traditions:
Passing out candy at local trunk-or-treat events
Supporting the town-wide Halloween celebration alongside the Windsor Police Department
These events give us a chance to connect with families and bring a little extra fun to the community.
Fighting Hunger & Supporting Basic Needs
Weld County Food Bank
We volunteer our time and contribute resources to support the Weld County Food Bank, helping ensure families in our region have access to food and essentials.
Investing in Youth Leadership
A major focus of Kiwanis is developing young leaders through service.
Key Club Leadership Development & Scholarship Program (High School)
One of the most important ways the Kiwanis Club of Windsor supports local youth is through our partnership with the Key Clubs at Windsor High School and Severance High School.
Key Club is the world’s largest student-led service organization, providing high school students with opportunities to develop leadership skills, serve their communities, and build lifelong friendships through volunteerism and service.
Through our support of local Key Clubs, students have the opportunity to:
Participate in meaningful community service projects
Develop leadership and teamwork skills
Build confidence through hands-on service experiences
Connect with like-minded students who are passionate about making a difference
Gain valuable experience that strengthens college and scholarship applications
Key Club Conference Scholarships
The Kiwanis Club of Windsor is proud to provide financial assistance to Key Club students attending district and national conferences.
These conferences are often described by students as life-changing experiences. They expose young leaders to new ideas, diverse perspectives, and educational opportunities that help them grow both personally and professionally.
Students who attend these events frequently return with:
Increased confidence and self-esteem
Stronger leadership and service skills
Enhanced communication and public speaking abilities
Greater understanding of teamwork and civic engagement
Lasting friendships and connections with students from across the region and nation
Participation in these conferences also helps students strengthen their resumes and college applications by demonstrating a commitment to leadership, service, and personal growth.
By investing in these students today, we are helping develop the community leaders, professionals, and volunteers of tomorrow. proudly support both the Windsor and Severance High School Key Clubs by:
Mentoring student leaders
Assisting with service projects
Helping with fundraising efforts
Supporting scholarship opportunities
Builders Club (Middle School)
We sponsor a Builders Club at American Legacy Academy, helping younger students develop leadership skills through service and teamwork.
Aktion Club (Adults with Disabilities)
We also help sponsor the Weld County Aktion Club, providing support and participation in service projects for adults with disabilities.
These programs are part of the broader Kiwanis mission to create leadership opportunities at every stage of life.
Supporting Student Fundraising
We regularly assist local students by helping run fundraising efforts at school events—such as selling rally towels, pom-poms, and spirit items at football games.
Scholarships & Opportunities
While our club does not offer scholarships every year, students in our programs have access to scholarship opportunities through Kiwanis International and the Rocky Mountain District.

Here in Windsor, that mission comes to life through local action—neighbors helping neighbors, and volunteers working together to make a real difference.
